I REPRESENT A THEATRE THAT WANTS TO SCREEN THE FILM

For permission and files please email TheEmpireFiles@gmail.com with the subject line “Theater Request” and the following information:

Theater name & location
Seating capacity
File delivery specs & requirements
Licensing compensation (flat fee, proceeds split, etc)

We are asking for screenings to be organized on or around Earth Day, but can accommodate other dates in April or after.

ORGANIZATIONS & INDIVIDUALS

We are excited for activists and organizations to build events around our film!

We encourage theater venues for public events. You can make this happen obys:

You and others can contact your local theaters and request they screen the film; if they get enough requests, they might host it themselves (You can direct them to the Theater section of this page).
Rent a theater yourself.

When you have a venue available, email TheEmpireFiles@gmail.com with the subject line “Public Event Request” and the following information:

Your Name/Organization

Location

Venue & proposed date

Budget capacity (ex: do you need us to cover cost of venue and run ticketing, or will you handle rental/ticketing and just pay a licensing fee)

We ask a licensing fee and/or revenue from ticket sales based on local capacity. Non-theater venues with good projector and sound can be accommodated.

We also welcome internal/private screenings for organizations. We require a donation to our non-profit based on your capacity. If that applies to you, please email TheEmpireFiles@gmail.com with the subject line “Private Screening Request” and the following information:

Name/Organization

Estimated attendance

Any other details, including venue

CAMPUSES

If you are a student or faculty that has a venue available at a college campus, email TheEmpireFiles@gmail.com with the subject line “Campus Screening Request” and the following information:

If honorariums or school funds are available for licensing or director Q&A (in-person or virtual)
Can you get your school to buy licensing rights for its digital library?

Donate to support the screening tour

Funds are still needed to organize a nationwide tour to get it widely seen. Our goal is to have this be a tool for awareness and organizing, building the essential bridge between the fight to save the planet and anti-militarism movements.
